Nepal Government ensures safety of Nepalese in Saudi Arabia

Following missiles attack in Saudi Arabia by rebels from neighboring Yemen, government of Nepal directed its embassy in Saudi Arabia to ensure the safety of Nepalese in Saudi.

Almost around 350,000 Nepalese are currently working in different cities of Saudi Arabia and to ensure there safety Nepal Government have directed its embassy in Saudi Arabia to closely monitor the situation and make sure Nepalese are not affected in any way said, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Mr. Bharat Raj Poudel.

Saudi government on Monday informed its air defense destroyed seven missiles that Yemeni rebels launched on Sunday.

According to reports, Shiite rebels of Yemen launched barrage of Missiles which marked the third anniversary of Saudi war in Yemen. Al-Alrabia a local newspaper stated that Saudi Army Spokesperson Colonel Turki Al Maliki said three missiles headed towards Riyadh and two towards Jazan.

According to Saudi government, rebels are launching missiles to target civilian. With this tension safety issues of almost three hundreds and fifty thousands Nepalese have emerged in Saudi Arabia.

2 Killed 32 Injured: Pharping Bus Accident

Two people lost there life in a bus accident today in Pharphing, Kathmandu. The bus on its way to Kathmandu from Dakshinkali, lost its control falling into a pothole causing the accident. 42 years old Manju Basnet and 25 years old Sunil Shrestha both of Daskshinkali Municipality lost there life on the spot. Remaining injured were rushed to hospitals in the capital, informed DSP at Metropolitan Range Mohan Thapa. Tipper Hits Taxi Killing One

A taxi met an accident in Basundhara, Kathmandu on Thursday morning which killed one and injured another critically. 16-year-old Ajit Shrestha lost his life and 27-year-old taxi driver Binod Magar is critically injured. The accident took place at 6:15 am when a tipper (Ba 2 Kha 3402) crashed with the taxi (Ba 1 Ja 3975) critically injuring the passenger Ajit Shrestha. During the course of his treatment Ajit Shrestha breathed his last today at 7:45 am in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital whereas the taxi driver Binod Magar is undergoing treatment at Basundhara based Chirayu Hospital.
