मकवानपुरमा पिसाब जम्मा गर्ने ट्याङ्कीमा डुबेर बालिकाको मृत्यु

मकवानपुर- गाईफार्ममा गाईको पिसाव जम्मा गर्ने ट्याङ्कीमा डुबेर एक जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ। मकवानपुरको मकवानपुरगढी गाउँपालिका ६, बाग्दलीका अर्जुन घिमिरेको ४ बर्षिय छोरी अमृताको डुबेर मंगलबार बिहान मृत्यु भएको हो। मकवानपुरगढी गाउँपालिका ५, सोलिथुमस्थित बालिकाको फुपु दिलकुमारी हुमागाईको गाई फार्मको पिसाव ट्याङ्कीमा डुबेका बालिकाको हेटौंडा अस्पतालमा ल्याउनासाथ चिकित्सकले मृतक घोषणा गरेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय मकवानपुरका प्रहरी उपरीक्षक विकासराज खनालले जानकारी थिए। महिला हिंसामा आधारीत हेर्नै पर्ने ५ फिल्महरु 

इलाममा ८ देशका १५ चिया व्यापारी

इलाम – २०३२ सालमा गाउँमा चियाखेती सुरु गरेर उत्पादन थाल्दा श्रीअन्तुका अविनन्द गिरीलाई चिया बेच्ने पिरलो थियो। आफूले उत्पादन गरेको हरियो चियापत्ती कहिले सीमा जोडिएको भारतीय बजार र कहिले इलामको सोक्तिम पुर्‍याएको देखेका गाउँलेले उनलाई ‘यसले चिया रोपेर नदुखेको टाउको दुखायो’ पनि भने । त्यतिबेलाको चिया व्यापार सम्झिँदा उनलाई लाग्छ–अहिलेजस्तो तेस्रो मुलुकका व्यापारी आँगनमै आएर चिया किनेर लैजान्छन् भन्ने त कल्पना नै थिएन। तर, उनले हरेस खाएनन्, चिया खेती विस्तार गर्दै अहिले साढे ४ सय रोपनी पुर्‍याएका छन् । उनको चिया अर्गानिक प्रमाणीकरणको प्रक्रियामा पुग्दा नेपालका मात्र होइन, तेस्रो मुलुकका व्यापारीसमेत चिया किन्न घरमै आएपछि उनी खुसीले गद्गद् छन् । ‘तेस्रो मुलुकमा चिया बेच्ने प्रक्रिया झन्झटिलो छ तर क्रेताको भने अब खाँचो छैन,’ उनले भने, ‘गुणस्तर कायम गर्न सकियो भने चियामा व्यापारीको आकर्षण आफैं हुनेरहेछ।’  सूर्याेदय नगरपालिकाका साना किसान र उद्योगीले उत्पादन गरेको चिया ‘टेस्ट’ गर्न सोमबार ८ देशका १५ विदेशी व्यापारी, चियाविज्ञ श्रीअन्तु आएका छन् । उनीहरूले यहाँका किसानले कोठेब...

Violation Of International Law: Israel kills 17 Palestinians in Gaza

Israeli forces killed 17 Palestinians in a demonstration near Gaza's border with Israel. After the incident which also injured more than 1400 people Palestinian Government day of national mourning on Saturday. All the schools, universities and government institutions, across the country was off on Saturday, as per the decision of President Mahmoud Abbas. The demonstration was made marking the 42nd anniversary of Land Day. Tipper Hits Taxi Killing One

A taxi met an accident in Basundhara, Kathmandu on Thursday morning which killed one and injured another critically. 16-year-old Ajit Shrestha lost his life and 27-year-old taxi driver Binod Magar is critically injured. The accident took place at 6:15 am when a tipper (Ba 2 Kha 3402) crashed with the taxi (Ba 1 Ja 3975) critically injuring the passenger Ajit Shrestha. During the course of his treatment Ajit Shrestha breathed his last today at 7:45 am in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital whereas the taxi driver Binod Magar is undergoing treatment at Basundhara based Chirayu Hospital. Assistant Sub-inspector Arrested for Raping 14-year-old Girl

On the charge of raping and impregnating a 14-year-old girl ASI Prem Thatal of Nawamidanda Police Station in Panchthar was arrested yesterday. After it cam to light that he raped and impregnated a teenage girl, a team from District Police Office, Panchthar, arrested ASI Thatal. Father of the 14-year-old girl told that ASI Thatal raped his daughter three months ago for the first time and gave her Rs 500. After that, he repeatedly raped her, claimed victim's father. ASI handled Rs 1000 note to victim's mother when she called him at home and inquired about the incident. ASI also promised to take the victim to the headquarters for treatment. Victim's father told that, ASI took him and his daughter on his motorcycle and kept them in a hotel in Phidim. Nepal Government ensures safety of Nepalese in Saudi Arabia

Following missiles attack in Saudi Arabia by rebels from neighboring Yemen, government of Nepal directed its embassy in Saudi Arabia to ensure the safety of Nepalese in Saudi. Bike hits cycle kills one

A motorcycle hit a bicycle in Surunga Municipality-05 of Saptari district on Sunday night killing the motorcyclist Rajiv Kumar Chaudhary of Sukhipur Municipality-4 in Siraha district and injured Bhuneshwar Chaudhary of Bodebarsain Municipality-8 in Saptrai and Mahesh Thakur of Surunga Municipality-8 of Saptari district. According to the Area Police Office, Kadarbona, the incident took place on the road in Kusaha around 9:30 PM yesterday when the motorcycle hit the cycle. After the incident, they were taken to Divine Hospital of Lahan where the motorcyclist Rajiv breathed his last while other two are undergoing treatment. Breaking News: Nepali Youth Killed in India

Morang: A Nepali youth was killed in bordering town of Jogbani with a sharp weapon on Monday. According to Inspector Santosh Niraula, the victim Kishan Kumar Sunuwar of Ithari-10 was attacked with a sharp weapon at Jogbani 10. He added Sunuwar ran towards Nepal after he was attacked with a sharp weapon and fell unconscious at Dashgaja area. He breathed his last during the course of treatment on Koshi Zonal Hospital. The place were the incident took place was often used by drug users which might have been the cause of fight said Inspector Santosh Niraula. Four People Arrested In Nepal Over Alleged Cow Killing

JITPUR, KAPILVASTU : Four persons were arrested on the charge of cow slaughter from Bijaypur Rural Municipality-4 in Kapilvastu district on Saturday. The arrested Hum Bahadur Rana, Kumari Gharti, Ram Kumari Gharti and Kunti Thapa identified are the local residents. Police arrested Rana from Jyotinagar on Friday night with 30 kilograms of beef. According to the police, during interrogation Rana confessed killing of cow. After Rana's confession, police on Saturday arrested  Kumari Gharti, Ram Kumari Gharti and Kunti Thapa  for their collusion on the crime. Cow is the national animal of Nepal and its slaughter is prohibited by Nepal's law. All the arrested have been detained at the Krishnanagar Police Office and further investigation into the case is going on, informed Khim Bahadur Gham, Chief of Area Police Office, Ganeshpur.
